Hosanna Banner: $250

This banner portrays the Day of the Great Hosanna, the seventh day of the Feast of Tabernacles during which according to Jewish tradition, in accordance with the reading of Ps. 118 on that day, "save now" (Hosheanah) was repeated seven times as the priests circled the alter seven times. At the highest time of praise, two pitchers were poured out into silver bowls, one with water symbolizing thanksgiving for the physical rain, and beseeching God to send more rain and to pour out His Spirit upon His people, and one with wine asking God to send the life of the Messiah. In the motif of the banner, the two outpourings are combined into a silver cup of redeemption nestled among a cluster of grapes. Tradition also holds that during the seventh day of the Feast, trumpets were sounded in the midst of rejoicing with palm branches which were quivered toward the alter, while willow branches were beaten so that the leaves were shed symbolizing the shedding of sins. How fitting that on Palm Sunday when Jesus came riding into Jerusalem on a donkey, the people quoted this same psalm, "Hosanna ! Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of the Lord, even the King of Israel" (Jn 12:13)

As Christians, the banner motif symboliizes an appeal for God to send the abundance of His life through spiritual cleansing represented by the water and the blood as we consecrate our lives to Him. Two large crossed silver sickles, one on which is written "Redemption" and on the other "Wrath" are shown piercing the clouds and encompassing the whole earth. The sickle of redemption gathers the wheat of the earth which is "white unto harvest", while the sickle of wrath gathers the grapes of the earth unto the "winepress of the wrath of God". A marked destinction between the two sickles is that the sickle of redemption passes through the word of God portrayed by an open bible setting on the circle of the earth, symbolically proclaiming that redemption comes through obedience to the word of God, while the sickle of wrath bypasses the Word, which brings forth wrath. Wine, becomimg blood flows from the clusters of grapes which hang from the sickle of wrath, thus portraying Rev. 14:20.

On a brighter side, the back of the banner portrays rays of redemption encompassing the whole earth on which are written the words, "Redemption Draweth Nigh".

Ark of the Covenant Banner Ark $400; Holy Panels $75 each,$350 set of 6

with "Holy, Holy, Holy, Who Is, Who Was, & Who Is to Come" Proclamation Panels:

This banner portrays the Ark of the Covenant(Ex.37:1-8), and the presence of the Lord as He manifests Himself between the wings of the cheribim (Ex. 40:34-35), and as He leads His people into battle (Nu. 10:33). This banner encourages us to look back to that wonderful time of the presence of God as He visited His ancient people, Israel. As God inhabited the Ark, the strength of His Presence caused His enemies to flee and His people to worship Him (Nu.10:35, Ps. 132:8).

The banner is three dimensional in construction to emphasize the mercy seat where the blood of the sacrifice was sprinkled for our forgiveness, reminding us again to worship Him for what He has done for us. Gold was chosen as the main color motif in keeping with the description of the Ark(Ex. 37). The swirl of crystals along with the iridescent fabric between the cheribim wings portrays the display of the Glory of the Lord.

When the banner is used in worship today, our prayer is that it will cause us to worship the Living God who resides with us today, praising Him with the heavenly hosts (Rev. 4:8) who are saying, "Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty who was. and is, and is to come". This scripture also inspired the design of six panels to accompany the Ark, three which read "Holy", and three which read "Who Is", "Who Was", & "Who Is to Come". These panels are rendered in white & silver brocade to portray His Holiness and accented with gold to symbolize praise. White translucent trains or canopies can be affixed to the backs of the proclamations to create a feel of His Presence over us. A generous use of bells announce His Presence.

Almighty In His Shadow Banner: $200

The motif of this banner includes two large golden wings on which, "Almighty" is written in silver & purple sequined fabric. The wings cover a raging fire underneath a curtain of golden lace on which are written the words, "In His Shadow". The banner is designed to release trust in the Lord and comfort to the observer. Ps. 91:4 states, "He shall cover thee with His feathers; and under His wings shalt thou trust." His loving wings of trust cast a shadow of protection upon those in His shelter as Ps. 91:1 states, "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High (in that close intimate relationship with Him) shall abide under the Shadow of the Almighty." The lace curtains (front & back) symbolize the shadow of His wings in the face of the perils of life as portrayed by the fire behind the curtain. The borders of lavender brocade which extend the lace curtains signify that His Shadow of protection, mercy, and grace are more than sufficient to cover the trials and perils of life.
